Centre Membership & The Pony Club.

You do not need to own a pony to join!

The pony Club is an international voluntary organisation for those interested in ponies and riding. It’s the largest association of riders in the world.

Centre Membership.

Pony Club Centres have been set up throughout the country with the aim of providing equestrian fun and educational activities to non-pony owning children. There are approaching 400 centres in the UK with approximately 10,000 members. The Heart of Wales Riding School is now one of those centres.

Facts.

1.     The Pony club aims to provide instruction in riding and horsemastership and to instil in members the proper care of their animals.

2.     The Pony Club promotes the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating the strength of character and self discipline.

3.     Centres run regular activities for their members including rallies, fun days and competitions and provide a safe environment in which to learn.

4.     You’ll meet lots of young people who share your love of ponies.

5.     Members of The Pony Club are covered by Third Party Public Liability Insurance.

6.     Almost every famous rider, show jumper and eventer started  learn their skills with The Pony Club. They all had great fun too!
